Battery recommendation for backup power. This one is a gel cell, deep cycle, sealed battery. You can get a lead acid battery for cheaper, but the gel cell doesn't have the charging and maintenance issues a lead acid battery will have. They do recommend a charger that is designed for gel cells to prevent overcharging.

1500W Inverter. This will power your coffee maker or other appliances. This particular model has USB phone charging outlets and bluetooth control, although I'm not sure the bluetooth control is worth much.
I have an older 2000W inverter that I used to take camping when I had a tent trailer that I'll part with for $100. It's a modified sine wave instead of a pure sine wave inverter. I used it to power a coffee maker and microwave. Now it sits in the shop as emergency power, but I haven't used it. |

Temperature Probe. Need two of these.

Relay. Need two of these. 40A will work, but if you are paranoid about it being not good enough you can get the 60A for a little more money.
Also need two of the heat sinks. |
